I’m a lifelong cat owner with ten years of cat sitting experience, as well as nearly two decades of experience volunteering and working in cat rescues. I’ve worked with cats of all ages and temperaments; one of my specialties is working with shy cats in need of socialization. There’s nothing more gratifying than building the trust of a cat and helping them to feel comfortable and understood.
In addition to my love for cats, I have a passion for farm animal rescue and have worked with multiple sanctuaries as a tour guide, animal care volunteer, and even playing music for the animals.
I love my time spent around cats for their wordless yet expressive way of communicating, for their clarity in their own needs and boundaries, and the love they give to those who have earned their trust. I love pet sitting because as a cat owner myself, I know firsthand how important it is to feel like your animals are in good hands and with someone who gets them.
